About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Analyst to analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive revenue growth and optimize sales performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data from e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and D2C website
•  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and performance dashboards
• Monitor sales KPIs including revenue, units sold, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost
• Identify sales trends, seasonal patterns, and growth opportunities across product categories
• Analyze product performance, best-sellers, slow-moving inventory, and stock-to-sales ratios
• Support sales forecasting and demand planning with data-driven insights
• Evaluate pricing strategies, discount effectiveness, and promotional campaign ROI
• Track marketplace performance metrics (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra) and compare with competitors
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and inventory teams to align sales strategies
• Build and maintain automated sales reporting tools and dashboards

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or data analytics
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and Google Sheets
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
• Familiarity with e-commerce analytics platforms (Google Analytics, marketplace seller dashboards)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis is a plus
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or D2C brands preferred
• Present sales insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams
• Investigate sales anomalies, returns, and cancellations to identify root causes
